Michelle S. Austin Said: Packs a Whollop! ( May. 28th 2010 )

I really like this fence energizer. It is strong enough that my Newfoundland is scared of it. I accidentally stepped on it a few days ago and my entire foot went numb! The only con about this system is it will easily have dead places if the cable isn't spliced together just right and the fence is clear of vegetation. I highly recommend this one if you have a dog who likes to escape!

Working great, keeping the horses where they belong, and even the dog has encountered it to keep him from chasing the horses. So far, so good! AND affordable.

Bruce H. Pantke Said: Not for dogs and cats ( Apr. 24th 2010 )

I only gave this product an average since I did not hook it up because I noticed it was for livestock only so I returned it. The best part of this transaction was dealing with AMAZON. They transmitted a UPS return lable within 2 minutes and shipped it off. Had my ok for refund within 3 days. Now that's the way to do business. I'm dealing with AMAZON whenever I can from now on. No fuss...no muss...no dealing with robot phones. CONGRATS AMAZON.

C. Hill Said: Raccoon detractor... works great! ( Apr. 8th 2010 )

Had a raccoon that would visit our deck, and rob the bird feeder. Not that big of deal to us, in fact we liked it, but often would muddy up the deck, make a mess, and then started taking a big dump right in front of our deck door as big thank you before he/she left for the night. (Raccoon droppings are very dangerous, and we were afraid our dog would eat it.) Hooked the unit up to the bird feeder, and the second night we heard for the first time in our life an authentic scream of a raccoon. (they really can scream) So far has not returned, and we have not had any more presents left by the bandit! (Tested it myself after I set up, and gives you a jolt, but no pain or damage.) Would recommend for raccoons or other pests. Very affordable, and easy to install. I may take a picture of my setup and post later.

this one is Ok, but I can not tell if it is working properly unless I touch it or get the volt meter...
