Question #2:
lost finale experts please explain (spoliers)?
Ok so I've watched every episode and now the final to and i've read the online reviews and the forum talk and the Lost explained but I still don't get it which I would think was pretty embarrassing but as I know for a fact alot of stuff was glossed over or just didn't make sense I feel no shame in asking for a sensible explanation or web link to one. This is what I did not get:
So how did jack get on the rock after drowing in an electric charged pool of death?
Was Jack a smoke monster as he died in the pool?
Please explain this purgatory nonsense and who was / want in it and how Desmond could flit back and forth?
If they were all dead when did they all die and what the hell was the island about if they were dead they never went there?
If they died on the isalnd why did some leave (then return) and then another bunch leave again in the season finale??? (brain is bleeding)
If some were dead and others not then how were they all in the church together for?
Why was Jacks dad there as he was actually the smoke monster?
What the hell was all that time travelling stuff?
I though Kate chose Sayer?
I thought Sayid was in love with another woman, not that crazy blond?
Why did ben stay in purg. if all the others left (if he wasnt ready how as it that the others were..why them?
Where was Michael and son?
Was the dog dead if so did he go to Purg.?
So did Hurley live or die? How can he be in the church with libby and running the island?
Was Hurley immortal if so how was he in the church?
What was all than no1 and 2 stuff between ben and big H, if it hadnt happened how did they know?
What happened to the polar bear in the desert?
What was all that we have a room which can bring anyone business and Lockes dad on the island madness?
What happened to Widmore? and his wife or his son or his girlfriend? (they were in purg. flash?)
How was Miles in both worlds if he survived and escaped and Kate and Sayer come to think about it?
So I guess someone out there can answer this stuff as it was in the show or if it wasn't then they can suggest as my brain has quit on me when it comes to the vast range of facts over the x seasons. Did I miss any big questions?
please help and thanks 4 helping and watching Lost in general as it was consistantly one of the best show on tv and will be missed..thank goodness for the film version coming next year eah!
Question #3:
How to get my invention on Popular Mechanics or PopSci?
I have a new invention call the High-Level EMP Attenuation System. There are EMP protection products already out there but they are limited to a certain frequency range, power rating, rise-time, and need extra components in order to stand up to the power of an EMP. "Why keep your old gas engine when you can get an electric one that is 5 times more powerful and cheaper". That's why I'm still trying to promote my invention. You can search through my questions to find it but I'll post the features of my system. I really need to know because it is confusing how other people are able to get their self and their invention noticed.
Here are the features:
What my system doesn't use that makes it cost effective, more redundant, and completely different:
No shunts, grounding, or EM filters needed.
No limit on the frequency range or power rating when the correct components are supplied.
No delay in the attenuation response; instantaneous.
No required connection type between “dirty” and “clean” connections.
No required voltage type needed for the same level of protection; DC and AC voltage is accepted.
No add-on components adding to the total cost; shunt capacitors, MOVs, resistors, secondary SASD arrays, feed-thru capacitors, or diodes of any kind are needed.
No add-on transient protector or lightning arrestor.
What my system has that makes it faster, more cost effective than current systems, and completely different:
Encourages the predefined power but blocks out transient voltages.
Effective EMP coverage.
Can be combined with ANY system that has an input.
Can compensate for any loses allowing for a gain in either voltage or current.
No limit on the place of installation as long as the elementary characteristics of the components are met.
Works in any operating condition that does not go above the elemental ratings of the components.
No components to burn out in regular operating conditions or during predefined over voltage conditions.
Costs, for some applications, do not go above $800.
Only adjustments in the metallic and dielectric components are needed to fit the application, therefore, lowering the cost.
Soon to be available to the general population under strict circumstances.
Because a ground is not needed, the risk of conducting a voltage from underground conductors is expelled.
Natural transient surge protectors and lightening arrestors are created during the construction of the system.
If anyone can help, thanks a lot!

Question #4:
How come stocks were a few bucks in the 80's and are in the 30+ range now?
I constantly hear stories about, "I bought and held... (Exxon) for example, and made a huge profit." A lot of stocks I look at through the 80's and 90's were in the few dollars range. General Electric, which was from what I understand a big company back then, was in the dollar two dollar range in the early 80's. What happened that made most of these companies like Walmart, GE, EXXON, Microsoft, etc... you know the type... turn into $30 range+ stocks of today? I can't imagine that buying into $50 stocks today will turn into $150 stocks twenty years from now.Question #5:
I'm a beginner, what guitar equipment do i need?
Hi folks,I've tried a few times to learn guitar but i was a little impatient and never stuck with it. I decided to give it one last try but i have some questions about equipment. I'll probably get this guitar Click Here because i love A7X and i'd rather start on an awesome guitar than start crappy and upgrade later, plus there's this weird aspect of my personality where i need to buy the best stuff even though i suck. anyway, i obviously need an amp but i don't know what kind(tube or otherwise) or brand to get. suggestions? i'm not gonna be in a band so i just need something for easy listening (blow the windows out my bedroom).
the biggest question i have is regarding effects. the crappy little cube6 amp i had before had like 4 settings and none of them gave me the scream/cry sound i was looking for, like in these vids
are these standard effects or do i need an amp that can make those sounds. what's an effects pedal??? it that what gives you all the cool sounds or is that just for switching between effects? basically what do i need to give me all the effects? and maybe record a riff and replay while i play
i want equipment that isn't super expensive but can produce excellent quality and give me a wide range of options.
i want to learn to play cause i love music and i wish i could sing but i suck and i can't whistle well either so i wanna make the guitar sing for me!!!!!!!! please also give any general/beginner guitar advice as well. THANKS TO ANY RESPONDERS!

Nisn Price Electic Leaf for U.S and Japan
on tuesday set the pricing for its nw leaf electric car that gos on sale in theU.S and japan in December as the japanee auto maker tries to lure buyers to its big bet on electric vehicles.
in the U.S the zero emissions leaf will carry a sticker price of $32,780 and buyers will be eligible for a $7,00 federal tax credit for lectric vehicles. In Japan the car will cost buyers $32,000 are a governmet incentive is applied there. the price in pan will be 3.76 million yen, or $4,700 before the incentive Nissan abandoned an earlier proosal to lease the Leaf's bttry to consumers as a way to dera the cost, citing government hurdles in Japan. The auto maker has the capacity o produce 50,000 of the electric vehicles a year in Japan from 2011 to 2013 at which pont nissan will add pruction of te leaf and its batterie in smyrna, tenn. The U.S plant will have the capaity to build 150,00vehicles a year. nissan said t will begin taking purchse oers for the 2011 leaf on april 1 in japan and apr20 i U.S the vehicle hi has a 100 mile range wil be available or sale in all U.S states by the end f 2011. U.S sales of the leaf will begin noregon ,california, washington, arizona and tennessee. "we want to mas aret our ars so our gol ws t sell them at anafordable pice" Nissan's chief operation officer, Toshiyuki shiga said in Japan. The Leaf has attracted a lot of attention in te auto industry as all electric vehicles have s far ony been sld with high prics and in low volumes. Nissan hopes the laf wll compete with hybridspowered by gasolinnd electricity such as the prius and hoda motor corp's insight as auto akrs begin to offer ival visions of fuel efficient low emsssion vehice bu electric vehicls remain constried by their batteres limid range. laer this year general motors co. is to begin sales of its rage-extended chevrolet volt electric sedan in california . Michian and washington D.C toyota plans to begin sales of a small electic vehicle in 2012. brian crolin , seniorvc president of sales and marketing for nissan in north america, estimated that the feling costs will be slightly less than a third for a comparable internl cobustion engine. the leaf's cost to buyers in the U.S is about 21% blow the cost for customers in Japan, inlding japanese goverrnment subsidies. Mr. carolin said the difference is in line with nissan's global pricing patterns, in which hgher prices are charge in japan and europe. "cars in the U.S are cheper" he said.
Question #7:
The qualities of instruments?
Ok so I would like to become more universal with my knowledge towards musical instruments besides clarinet and sax since i basically know everything about just those two and some mild knowledge about others. So could some musicians out there tell me the best brand (for the general population. Like the brand that everyone recommends as a top quality instrument. like Buffet on clarinet even if it isn't your preferred brand.) here are the instruments that i would like to hear about.- Flute
-electric bass
-oboe
-bassoon
-trumpet
-trombone
-violin
-piano
-percussion ( timpani, bells, the works =)
Also if you would like to add the reasons for picking these brands in greater detail like it's pros and cons and also price range would be very appreciated!
I know i could just google all this but i like to hear it from some ordinary musicians and i know your answers will be more to the heart lol.
So please give me your fav brand for as many as you can and i will appreciate it!
Hey thanks for the first answer... I understand how these instruments are played as i have been player for years but I like what you said about the flute material and the brand Yamaha. I guessed that as they seemed the most pricey. Great thanks again
Question #8:
How much is a second-hand Cort acoustic-electric guitar worth?
The model I have in mind is the SFX1F, but also in the general price-range of the SFX models - if the guitar is in reasonably good condition, what percentage of the original price do you reckon it is worth?Question #9:
Is a 2 stage Variable speed furnace worth the investment?
I'm asking a question that I already know the answer to. When I had this question a while back I wasn't able to get a good answer. This should help someone trying to decide.I installed a 2 stage Goodman 95% variable speed furnace. (Goodman sometimes gets a bad name because there products are available to the general public quite easily and people make costly mistakes. Even well known company's take short cuts and make mistakes. A two stage furnace lets the blower run under far less load making the variable speed blower that much more cost efficient. Variable speed motors cost far less to operate under minimal loads. Electric savings could range from 30-90% but don't expect to see 90%. Average person saves in the range of 10-15 dollars a month. Remember the savings continue all year if you have central air and could even save you a little more in the summer. When the heater runs in single stage (low output) you won't even know it's on. Very quite. It will run for longer periods of time but since it doesn't cycle on and off it makes both the electric and gas usage lower. It also puts less wear on the unit. That's why they have better warranty's. I'm saving no less than 20% on my gas bills. I was using a 80% furnace which was 4 years old. I figure that I will save no less than $350 a year. Some gas company's offer a $300 rebate to install a furnace over 90% efficient. Pay the extra money now. You'll get all your money back in a couple of years.
Question #10:
How to increase water hardness in aquarium with household items.?
I have a 29 gallon tank with 2 electric yellow labs and 2 acei cichlids. the general water hardness is very low. I have heard that epsom salt will increase the hardness of the water, but i do not have any. The PH is fine at 8.0, and the alkalinity is in the 150 ppm range. thank you.Question #11:
Epiphone Casino vs. Fender Strat?
I'm a long ways off from buying an electric guitar, I'm still quite new to acoustic, but I'm just looking ahead and looking at two guitars that I like the looks/sounds of within my price range, the Epiphone Casino & the Fender Stratocaster. Obviously I want to research and try them out more before I would make a purchase, but I'm just curious about your general opinions, from people who have more experience.I'm impressed with the versatility of the Stratocaster, but I am also impressed with the unique tones of the Casino. I've never been much into metal, so I don't worry too much about that in terms of tone (neither the Stratocaster nor Casino is ideal for metal, I've heard), what I do like is a lot of 60s rock, Beatles, Dylan, Stones, etc. I like that you can get the "Beatle tones" with the Casino, given that Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison all used the guitar, but, at the same time, I'm always discovering new music that I like, and given how versatile the Strat is, kind of makes me lean toward that. Its hard to decide though. I've heard some really unique tones & effects from the Casino, but the Strat, overall, does seem to be more powerful, particularly in terms of leads. Anyway, I'm just looking for your opinions from those who have experience. Thanks for any help.
Question #12:
Question regarding singing and playing for first time live?
I have been playing the guitar for a little over ten years and have been only singing for a few years. I would like to start singing in public to get myself out there more. I own a Taylor guitar that allows me to plug into an amp and a 75w Peavey amp that i mainly use for my electric. My problem is when it comes to the singing. I do not own a decent mic let alone a PA system, though recently I did go out looking for some general equipment. For now I'm looking to play in small groups of people and small rooms (e.g. nothing bigger then a bar room). The PA I found is an 80w with four ports at a price range of about $300. Would it be a good idea to purchase this PA system with a very good mic ($150 mic) for what I will be doing? And Do most Musicians who play acoustic guitar and sing generally plug into their guitar into a PA system or just the mic in the PA and the acoustic guitar into a guitar amp?Question #13:
What Equipment Do I Need For In-Home Recording?
So I've written a few songs and my friends are telling me I should record them (at home) and after thinking about it, I think I will. But I don't have the first idea when it comes to in-home recording. I just need basic stuff because it's just for me so it doesn't need to be top-of-the-line equipment. I'm wondering if you guys could tell me in general what stuff I'll need and a general price range for it all.
I play the guitar (both electric and acoustic), the piano, and the ukulele (such a cool instrument! lol), and plus vocals, so if that has an impact of the equipment there you go!
So yeah, thanks!

Question #18:
Can anybody tell me a general price range for electric & water bills in a Southern California apartment?
I just moved into a 1br apartment in Santa Clarita with my husband. I wanted to see if I could get an idea of how much my bills will cost. We are not home during the day, & we haven't run the air or heat, & have not used the dishwasher yet.Question #19:
What is the lifespan of an electric bike?
Say you have an electric bicycle that is used daily, capable of a 30 mile range before needing re-fuelling and a speed range of 3-15mph.What would be its likely lifespan, i.e. when would the whole thing have to be replaced?
I do not need exact measurements, just the general idea, as it is for a project for which i have to design an electric bike, which i know nothing about.
thank you!
Question #20:
Will General Electric subsidaries NBC, CNBC, and MSNBC ever report anything negative about Obama?
General Electric Corporation owns a wide variety of businesses. The company produces -- take a deep breath -- aircraft engines, locomotives and other transportation equipment, kitchen and laundry appliances, lighting, electric distribution and control equipment, generators and turbines, and medical imaging equipment. GE is also one of the preeminent financial services companies in the US. General Electric Capital, comprising commercial finance, consumer finance, aircraft leasing, real estate, and energy financial services, is its largest segment. Other operations include the NBC television network. One of General Electric's largest divisions, GE Energy serves utility, industrial, and governmental customers worldwide, supplying products such as compressors, wind turbines, generators, and nuclear reactors. It also provides equipment that supports oil and gas distribution, and services ranging from consulting and field engineering to environmental monitoring and product lifecycle management.
The General Electric CEO is openly a Obama supporter and he wants cap and trade to pass. Why? Not because it is good for the environment, but it is good for General Electric's bottom line.
So will these networks ever report anything controversial about Obama?
