I agree with the first answer, Epiphone makes excellent guitars. Its not really a Gibson copy, but Gibson owns Epiphone, but there's history behind it. Epiphone and Gibson were competing and gibson won, and yeah.500-800$ could get you a really good guitar. What kind of music do you play?
