Question #1:
HELP: Theres been an accident at work, what should i do?
I own a range of succesful warehouses and a few franchises. One of our policies is that we maneurfactor and use our own products at our bussiness. In one such warehouse, Lawwit compounds, there was an accident involving one of our pre marketed products: an automatic electric smart vice, which helps work bench activities move along faster with better results and can prevent atheritus. Now one of Lawwit compounds warehouse employees had his 'member' so to speak, trapped in the smart vice, resulting in pain and possible impotentness. Now as a company, we are not liable for accidents involving employee/Lawwit products as they have been aproved by health inspectors and employees have signed contracts condoning such products.
The said employee however, is attempting to sue me, claiming that the vice should have been fixed to his height like most of our products, but the vice could not off been adjusted unless i had a special bench just for his height, and employees are not liable for additional funding for access unless the employee is wheelchair bound, in which case one would not have their testies and gonads crushed.
I am no dork, just a very bored student thank you very much. Dickhead.
Question #2:

I've been playing guitar for a little more than 8 months, and i got my electric on Christmas of 09.I had a AMP I used, but my step-brothers trashed it to hell, so now since im not at my mother's anymore, i figured it's time to get another, which i did, but its just for practice, anyway I need a good phaser, one with a wide range and depth, so i can go from Metal, to Dark wave romantic riffs, in like a few seconds, ive got everything but the phaser, i just want a really good one, oh and it has to be under $100.

Question #7:
Is an Ibanez ART100 a good guitar for a beginner?
You`ll probably say a Fender would be best, but I like this better plus it is in my price range. Also, if you know of a good-enough amp under $100 I`d like to know what it is. I already played bass guitar for a couple years, and I`m moving to the electric.Question #8:
Will you help me pass this idea on to the manufacturers of home theater surround sound receivers & amplifiers?
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DETAIL B EFORE YOU ANSWER.When WE listen to MUSIC SOURCES on a 5.1 or higher surround sound system, in most cases the music SOURCE is 2-channel stereo.
Of course there is a setting for 2 channel stereo on the receiver, integrated or power amp BUT with the exception of the “subwoofer out” jack, even in 2 channel stereo mode ALL FIVE OR MORE channels are ON and don’t put out any sound because the machine is in stereo mode.
Because of the way that ALL past and present day surround sound receivers and amplifiers are built, the power of those other 3 or more channels are ON and that power is still being used by the machine and those channels even though there’s no MUSIC SOURCE being input to those other channels.
That means that when listening to 2 channel stereo, whether you’re using a 5.1, 6.1., 7.1, 7.2, 9.1, 9.2 or higher, if your machine is rated 100 watts per channel, when listening to ANY SOURCE in STEREO MODE you are listening to 100 + 100 watts but your machine is using the 3 or more times 100 and your electric company is charging you for ALL 5, 6, 7, 9 or higher when listening in STEREO MODE.
If you’re not listening to a surround sound SOURCE or using one of the DSP modes/settings, i.e., surround sound settings that output to the other channels also, you are paying the electric company for power that YOU ARE NOT USING!
How about SOMEONE designg and build a surround sound receiver or integrated or power amplifier that when listening to a 2-channel stereo source/output, the other channels can be TURNED OFF either manually or automatically?
And those of you that are mindful of your electricity usage don’t forget the electricity that’s being used to operate the POWERED subwoofer.
How many watts does your subwoofer use?
Some home theater enthusiasts use subwoofers in the 500 and 600 watt range.
Coupled with a 100 watt per channel 5.1 set, you’re using a minimum of 1000 watts for however long you have the system on.
That’s a LOT of power consumption
I don’t use a subwoofer cause my speakers are pretty good and output good useful bass response down to 27hz.
All answers are excellent.
I'll leave it to the Yahoo Answers Community to choose the Beast Answer.
Thanks.
Question #9:
My fiance and I are looking for an Apartment in the Dallas Texas area...?
...And it will be in my name and I'm a first time renter. I am younger with no credit history and we are having trouble finding an all bills paid apartment. Our maximum budget is $600 so if we rent out an apartment that is NOT all bills paid, what price range will our water and electric bills, etc should we be prepared to face?Question #10:
Which one of these Electric appliances would be best to upgrade Frig, Range, Water Heater, Clothes Dryer?
3 people living in the home one bath.Refrigerator is 25 cubic feet and 15 years old.
Water heater is electric conventional storage tank 18 years old.
Clothes Dryer is electric 18 years old
Range is the flat top electric kind 5 years old
They are going to be taking off the electric rate caps for Pa. in 2011. I just wanted to upgrade some of the big energy hogs before that happens.
Of course all these appliances are running fine. So there is the thought of why throw them away if they are running fine. Perhaps I should wait till they quit to maximize savings.

What am I in for in converting a drop-in range to a freestanding or slide-in?
I have what I believe to be a drop-in electric range now, a Whirlpool model RS610PXK0. I am thinking about converting it to a freestanding, provided a freestanding will fit into the space between the counter tops, or a slide-in. This is mainly because the price of drop-ins is significantly higher than freestanding, perhaps due to popularity. Currently there is an electric baseboard heater below the range, which is no longer in use as I have converted to central heat. I suppose that will have to be ripped out. The Formica counter top will need to be cut, if I need to get all the way back to the wall with the new range. I am trying to figure out if there are any hidden gotchas I might run into before I go out and buy a new range. I will certainly do the measurements of the new unit to be sure it will fit in the space provided before I buy.Question #13:

I want to make an offer of 230,000. Is that considered too low 100,000 off their asking price. I tried to talk to my relator and she just tells me " she cant tell us that information, or she doesnt know, or their relator wont give that information out" its a small town and we dont want to get another relator since we would see her in time to come. do you think 230 is a fair offer if we present it with similar homes in the area selling for less?

Question #17:
Best guitar for singer-songwriter?
Right now, I have what I guess would be considered a start guitar - an Ibanez V70CE acoustic-electric that sells for $200. It's been great, but I'm starting to shop for a better guitar that would better suit the music style I am playing. I'm looking at about a $400 - $600 price range (which I know isn't much, instrument-wise, but it's what I can afford at the moment). In my songs, I lean more towards rhythmic chord-playing rather than finger picking, so I want a guitar with a much fuller, rounder sound rather than the puny, undramatic sound that my Ibanez provides. I much prefer the OM shape and a darker wood appearance-wise, and I've always loved the way that Takamines and Martins look and sound; other than this, though, I don't have much of an idea of what to shop for, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!Question #18:

Question #19:
smoke comes out of my oven when I use it...?
The last two times I used it to cook something, a lot of smoke comes out. The first time, I didn't notice until it was baking, and it was coming from the stove top. The second time, I noticed it before I put the food in, so I just turned it off (I'm deathly afraid of fire). It's an electric range and oven, but i'm still concerned. Should I just give it a good cleaning (it has a self-clean feature), or what?
